Introduction to the operations and artistic practice in a professional theatre.

An agreed separate directing or dramaturgy production in a professional theatre, or assisting or work on a text, translation or editing of a drama text.

Introduction to the staging and long-term theatre art direction in which the intership occurs.
- Course contents:

Professional practice intended to acquire experience in professional theatre surroundings. Students independently study and prepare a production as a director or dramaturgist or takes part as an assistant or dramaturgy reader. Students are introduced to the particulars of the profession not only from the artistic aspect but also operations.

A drama textand all accompanying literature.
- Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Students should be aware of the general practice of a professional theatre - from work on a text and accompanying printed material, through the rehearsal process and work with the dramaturgist and director and other stage artists up to the premier. Work continues under the supervision of the main course instructor, or artistic director or professional theatre director.

The artistic results of the prepared and studied production and course of its rehearsals are assessed.
